Welcome to our anime recommendation Application

This application was done for a project at HEC Lausanne for a master class named “Programming tools”. Its main aim is to make the user of our application fill in a certain number of boxes in order to offer him the best anime recommendation. Below is a brief summary of how to use it.

How to proceed ?

Are you a great expert or are you a novice with no knowledge about anime? For the newbies:

• Go to the first tab to have recommendation according to your age, time that you have in front of you and gender that you like.

For experts, go to the next two tabs:

• The first one will give you anime recommendations according to the anime you have selected beforehand.
• The second one will give you recommendations according to the scores you have given to several anime selected beforehand.

You can either use the application preview under this text but it is clearly not optimal so we would advise you to directly go to https://vhain.shinyapps.io/anime_finder/ to use it.
